General Presentation


The activity of the School of Public Health focuses on training, research and postgraduate training services (master) and advanced programs of medical education in order to increase the capacity and performance of the specialists from the health system that are involved in managerial activities in the field of public health. The main directions of activity of SPH are :

  • The development of the research to increase the level and quality of the knowledge in the field of public health, based on scientific proves, with the proposal of some cost effective interventions.
  • Consulting services and technical assistance in the field o public health and management, at the solicitation of different institutions, national and international structures, to develop policies, strategies and existing programs, as well as public health services.


SPH is an institution oriented towards national and European values, public health and management, which promotes standards, methods, educational technologies and modern management in order to improve the quality , the efficiency and the performance of the public health system in Moldova.


The values underlying SPH activity are targeted to ensure a continuous progress of institutional capacities:
